Dewatering Contractors

Dewatering contractors are professionals who remove excess water from construction sites. They also provide dewatering services to municipalities and other organizations that require groundwater control.

  • Sump pumping: A common solution for construction sites. Groundwater is collected in a pit or sump and removed with pumps.
  • Borehole pumps: These pumps remove groundwater before a building’s foundation is placed.
  • Sludge dewatering: Waste activated sludge is difficult to dewater.
  • Cut-off wall: Grouting methods are used to form a curtain or cut-off wall in high permeability soils.
